The Wanaka Winter Markets kick off tonight (Thursday July 2)!
Organised by volunteer group Light Up Wanaka, the markets, with 15 stalls and live music, will run every Thursday in winter from 4.30pm to 7.30pm in front of the Speight’s Ale House on Ardmore Street, and along Bullock Creek towards Francesca’s Italian Restaurant.
Light Up Wanaka has also been busy selling fairy lights to local businesses in order to illuminate the town and create a winter wonderland feel. With 60 sets of lights sold, the team at Peak Accommodation are looking forward to seeing the initial “light up” when they’re all switched on for the first time this Saturday, 4 July!!
