Is strolling, walking and hiking your thing?  Well, there’s heaps of options on offer during your stay in Wanaka, no matter what your group’s abilities and interests are!   Here’s some ideas to get you started:

  • The Blue Pools walk (just past Makarora on the way to Haast) is fun for all ages with a couple of swing bridges!!

  • The team at Lake Wanaka Tourism vote the Rob Roy Glacier track as Wanaka’s best half day walk. You’ll see native golden tussock, dark manuka trees and beech forest with all its native birdlife.
