Upton Cottage was simply a delightful place to stay and we would have no hesitation in booking it again. The location was ideal – it was easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beautiful lakeside. Most importantly for us, after other disappointments, this cottage was presented spotlessly clean, with good quality and very comfortable beds and bedding and a kitchen well supplied with crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. It all made for a wonderful holiday interlude – Nov 2012

The bach is very warm, well furnished (essentially all new), comfortable beds, quiet location but with immediate access to the village and supermarket. Also easy access to Cardrona skifield. All together a good package, strongly recommended – March 2011

We stayed at Upton Cottage for 18 nights during July and August. We loved its central location. During the winter months it is still close enough to walk to all the cafes, bars, restaurants, shops and the supermarket in Wanaka township. The Paradiso Cinema is just over the back fence. We also enjoyed having the internal access garaging, wood burner and a sunny north facing lounge in the winter. The house is well appointed and the beds were very warm and comfortable. Fantastic location – because it is getting difficult to find a car park in the Wanaka township it was such a bonus and quicker to have the short walk to the shops, cafes etc. The property itself is spacious and peaceful. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you – Feb 2016
