Gosh, how exciting was SKY Sport last night?! The Peak Accommodation Wanaka team is just LOVING watching and supporting the locals in the NZ Olympic Team competing in Russia!!
Last night, Jossi and Beau-James competed in the freeski slopestyle competition. Jossi made it through to finals where he placed 11th and Beau-James placed 21st out of 32 athletes. The boys are still to compete with their other Olympian brother Byron Wells in the freeski halfpipe on the 18th February.
Katharine Eustace, skeleton racer, was also in action at Sanki Sliding Centre last night where she placed 14th overall from heat one and two. At 4.40am on 16 February Katharine will take to the course twice more to secure her final position.
You guys sure are #makingusproud!
Mention also needs to be made of how good the team looks in its uniform, especially the under-layers from another Wanaka success story, Mons Royale! You can get your limited edition supporters’ gear here.
