Art in the Park (Sunday 19 April, 11 am – 5 pm) will for the 12th year, be held in the grounds of Minaret Lodge Wanaka at 34 Eely Point Road.
As well the display of local photographers and artists’ work (like the beautiful piece above from Sophie Melville, Mini Grandi Artist), the South American theme promises a taste of Argentinian Asado (BBQ), tortillas with chimichuri sauce and delicious chorizo, a glimpse of the sensuous dance of the tango and, the sounds of the dynamic duo from Wellington, Dos de Corazones, singing and playing Argentinian folk and traditional songs, chacareras and zambas from other South American countries.
Latin Link Adventure, specialists in South American travel and based in Wanaka are delighted to bring the talented Emily and Christian to Wanaka laden with their violin, guitar, trumpet & ukulele!!
ROTARY Wanaka will be the lucky recipients of all funds raised at this year’s Art in the Park, with tickets sales available at the gate (Adults $10; students with ID and children are free).
